This real gem of a hotel in the village of Wiesen is linked to the ski region of Davos /Klosters. There are no ski runs from Wiesen itself so you will need to get the ski bus to Rinerhorn (10 mins) for the nearest ski runs or Davos itself (20 mins). This hotel will therefore not suit the skiers who wish to ski hard every day and be part of the ‘action’. However, the Bellevue is a jewel set in an idyllic village in the heart of spectacular mountain panorama and is ideal for the visitor who is looking for a winter retreat, with wonderful views and great local cuisine.
The restaurant offers Swiss and international cuisine expertly prepared by chef Andreas Calonder using superb, fresh ingredients from Graubünden. The dining room and terrace makes the most of the outstanding views and it seems the hospitality is always waiting to entice you throughout the day with breakfast, lunch, traditional afternoon tea or dinner! Bar 1873 has been restored to celebrate its 140 years of hospitality, where refreshments are available with a draft of Monstein wheat-beer from the local brewery or a cocktail of your choice.
Albula Sports is close to the hotel where you can hire your ski equipment, or find out about the local winter walking trails. Please note there is no lift up to the two floors of bedrooms.
This small, unpretentious, boutique hotel has been totally renovated to a comfortable 3 star standard with many rooms offering stunning mountain views. Stefanie Stöckl will welcome you to this special traditional hotel with her sincere passion for mountain hospitality at its best.
