Overlooking the Jungfrau massif and Lauterbrunnen Valley, this traditional hotel dating from 1898 offers a relaxed and quiet stay, only five minutes from the village centre, the station and the Männlichen cable car.
There is a spacious and attractive lounges and a bar. A five course dinner (plus a salad buffet) is served in the charming dining room with several choices of main course (one of which is always a vegetarian option). A special buffet is offered once a week and on another evening there is a splendid gala dinner. The extensive buffet breakfast will set you up for your day on the slopes and the hotel has complimentary tea and biscuits each afternoon. Other facilities include sauna and a ski room, while the sun terrace has magnificent views over the mountains.
Guests are welcome to use the spa at the sister hotel, the Silberhorn, free of charge. The Zinnert family are on hand to look after their guests, along with a very friendly staff. We have been recommending this hotel to guests for more than ten years and received nothing but compliments, especially with regard to the quality of food and the comfort of the rooms.
