HOTEL STAR CATEGORIES
The Swiss hotel association classifies its hotels in five categories indicated by stars. The SHA star classifications are only given as a guide to prospective clients. All hotels are different in style and furnishings and there can be a variation within a star category and this is usually reflected in the price. Where a hotel does not belong to the SHA we have used our knowledge of the property and applied our own rating.
ROOM DESCRIPTIONS
The codes mentioned in our room descriptions are only used as a means of identifying the different types of rooms and should not be read in any other way.
Photographs of rooms are shown as a typical example and your room may vary in size and furnishings. Single rooms will usually be smaller.
MEALS
Half board unless otherwise stated includes a buffet breakfast and dinner. Where there is a choice of menu for dinner this is stated in the hotel description.
RESORT & HOTEL FACILITIES
Where hotel facilities include sauna or solarium etc. it does not mean that they are available without charge. Some resort facilities may not be available at the beginning or end of the season.
DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Should you need a special diet then you should advise us of your requirements at the time of booking. Vegetarians can be catered for at most of our hotels and many have a vegetarian option on their dinner menu.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We will pass on any special requests to the airline etc. However, as these are dependent on our suppliers we cannot guarantee that special requests can be complied with. All special requests should be made in writing.
RESERVATIONS
Reservations are best made by telephone so that your requirements may be discussed personally. A deposit of £150 per person is required if your holiday is with Swiss International Air Lines or British Airways. For holidays with any other airlines a minimum deposit of £250 per person will apply.
You will then receive a confirmation invoice which gives full details of the hotel and travel arrangements made. Settlement of the balance is due 10 weeks prior to the departure date. For reservations within 10 weeks full payment is required at the time of booking.
