Conveniently situated in the heart of the village two minutes from the mountain railway and directly opposite the Männlichen cable car. The ski run back to Wengen ends about four minutes from the hotel which offers every modern comfort but in the traditional style of an Alpine hotel. There's a lounge with a log fire and a cosy bar which becomes the centre of social life in the evenings and here a pianist provides quiet background music.

You will be served a four course dinner in the dining room (choice of main course and weekly salad buffet). The ample buffet breakfast (including scrambled eggs & bacon) will set you up for your day on the slopes. Each week there is a splendid gala dinner and on another evening a delicious dessert buffet to tempt you. The Sunstar's swimming pool has large picture windows and there's also a steam bath (free) & solarium (at a charge). Other facilities include an à la carte restaurant and a ski room. Over Christmas & New Year there's a special programme of events for guests with superb gala dinners and speciality meals.

B Rooms with bath and Männlichen view (single rooms with shower).
A As type ‘B’ but with balcony with a spectacular view over the Lauterbrunnen valley to the high Alps.

Duplex - split level rooms with bath, wc for three or four persons. During the day the beds on the lower level become settees. Prices on request but please note our usual child reductions do not apply to duplex rooms.

All rooms have telephone, tv, radio, hairdryer, safe and complimentary soft drinks and beer from the minibar.
