This spacious and popular hotel is centrally situated in the village directly opposite the gondolas for the ‘First' ski area and about seven minutes to the station for Kleine Scheidegg but the frequent ski bus, which stops in front of the hotel, takes just four minutes!
The hotel's interior is in a warm rustic style and the beautiful, spacious lounge has been cleverly laid out to give numerous cosy corners and in the evening a log fire burns in the hearth and a pianist provides background music, whilst in the hotel's bar you'll meet the many nationalities who stay at the Sunstar.
A very fine buffet breakfast is laid out every morning which includes scrambled eggs & bacon. Dinner in the spacious dining room is a four course meal with choice of menu and there's a weekly gala dinner or a splendid buffet with a wide choice of hot & cold dishes which look as good as they taste (especially the dessert buffet!). Over Christmas & New Year there's a special programme of events for guests with superb gala dinners. There is also a beautiful à la carte restaurant, the Adler Stube and if you would like to try the specialities here one evening then an allowance will be made against your bill.
Other facilities include large swimming pool, steambath, solarium & sauna and a ski room.
