Situated in the heart of the village and yet only about ten minutes from the main cable cars. The Metropol has a comfortable lounge with a log fire and a spacious dining room where breakfast is served as an extensive buffet and dinner is a very fine six course menu with a choice of menu for three of the courses (including vegetarian options). Each week there's usually a breakfast with sparkling wine as well as the possibility of a raclette party one evening and on another evening the speciality ‘Fondue Chinoise’.

There's a hotel bar and other facilities include a wellness area with swimming pool, saunas, steam bath, solarium, jacuzzi, sun terrace and ski room. We have dealt with the Hotel Metropol for many years and know that Ursula and Hans Hess give their personal attention to our guests who always speak very highly of the hotel, especially the high standard of the cuisine and the relaxed ambience.
