The imposing Hotel Edelweiss sits above the rooftops of the centre of Engelberg, with great views over to the famous mount Titlis. The hotel runs its own shuttle bus to the Brunni cable car taking you to the sunny side or to the impressive skiiing area offered from the Trübsee and Titlis cable car. The village centre is only 3 minutes' steep downhill walk away where you can enjoy varied shopping and good apres ski activities.

The Edelweiss rightly prides itself on being a great family hotel where children are truly welcomed. There are four playrooms for children of different ages, a free supervised kindergarten from 5pm to 9pm daily except Tuesday, chidlren's dining at 6.30 and a Globi Club with regular entertainment and stories. Children really are at the heart of the Edelweiss.

Your buffet breakfast and four course evening dinner are served in the dining room which offers views across the valley. There is no a la carte menu or separate restaurant. The lounge, with an open fireplace and bar where creative cocktails are served, is the social hub of the hotel.

Susanne and Peter Kuhn are great hosts and they are at the heart of all the activities including organising a hut evening in the mountains, skiing with their guests and making sure everyone is having a great time.
