This spacious hotel, built in traditional wood, is in the centre of Villars nearly opposite the train station where you will arrive and more importantly where the cog railway departs for the slopes of Betraye. The open plan lobby area with its central fireplace gives you a great welcoming feel and there is also a cosy bar and terrace. The excellent five course dinner is served in the main restaurant where you will also take a fine buffet breakfast. There are also two à la carte restaurants; Au Feu de Bois which specialises in French and Italian cuisine and you can enjoy local dishes in the Au Coin du Feu as an alternative at no extra cost. Other facilities include a games room, sauna, solarium and Turkish bath. Upgrading to a south facing room is strongly recommended as you will be rewarded by outstanding views. The Du Golf is superbly run by the Angelini family who have been welcoming guests for six generations. Highly recommended.
