Villars is gaining friends each year as more people discover the delights of this excellent all round resort, situated on a sunny plateau with a spectaular panorama above the Rhône valley towards the high Alps and Mont Blanc. The ski area stretches across three areas of Villars, Gryon and Les Diablerets and gives you the opportunity to ski 125km of prepared pistes up to a height of over 3,000m. The cog railway takes the strain going up from Villars to Bretaye for both skiers and non skiers. As an endorsement for its work in developing Villars for children, the village has been awarded the seal of 'Families Welcome' resort by the Swiss authorities.
