The Adelboden-Lenk ski resorts offer some of the most
attractive ski areas in Switzerland. A real favourite with the Swiss
themselves.These resorts are ideal destinations for skiers looking for a relaxed atmosphere in a choice of alpine villages.

The skiing is fantastic for beginners and intermediates alike making this a great area for families and friends looking for different challenges, well supported with a great variety of mountain bars and restaurants in which to recapture your morning exploits….

There are six areas offering a great variety of skiing with over 50 lifts and 185km of well prepared pistes set in gorgeous mountain scenery. Over 60% of the main pistes are supported with artificial snow making this an area which offers guranteed skiing throughout the season.

For snowboarders and freestyle skiers the Mastra Park offers exciting jumps, rails and boxes with a Grill 'n' Chill area.

Silleren-Hahnenmoos-Metsch is the largest area and also the heart of the Adelboden-Lenk ski region, offering a varied network of pistes with numerous simple to medium-difficulty pistes and wide carving pistes, interesting snowboard parks. There are also permanent race runs on Lavey, Aebi and Guetfläck and you can test yourself at the time measurement
facilities on Luegli.

Chuenisbärglii where you can discover Adelboden's famous Ski World Cup Mountain where stars are born and ski dreams come true. The variety of pistes promises pure skiing pleasure and thanks to the comfortable 4-seater chairlift, the Silleren-
Hahnenmoos-Metsch ski area is also easy to reach.

TschentenAlp, small but a special snow paradise at 2,000m and only 7 minutes from Adelboden. Breathtakingly beautiful scenery, well prepared pistes for skiing, sledging and why not try out ‘skibock’ – a trendy cross between ski and sledge.

Engstligenalp basking in the winter sun on a panoramic terrace is just as typical of Engstligenalp as tracks carved in fresh snow by freeriders. While some seek winter action with skiing, snowboarding, ski tours and cross country skiing, Engstligenalp
offers everything between switching-off and all-out action!

Elsigne-Metsch these wide, well-prepared slopes are firm favourites. The Swiss Ski & Snowboard School arranges downhill runs by torchlight (flares), guest ski races and ski tours.

Betelberg Lenk’s own mountain offers over 40km of pistes with easy and intermediate skiing and an array of activities for all. Winter walking in a wide, serene landscape is a very special experience. Wallegg, a top insider tip for carvers, is always one of the first areas to open in the Bernese Oberland.

Resort Facilities

Toboggan There are over 15km of prepared toboggan runs in the Adelboden-Frutigen area and 4km which include night sledging by floodlight during high season. In Lenk there is a 3km tobbogan run on the Betelberg from Leiterli-Stoss halfway station.

Cross country skiing – Adelboden: There are 47km of regional country tracks and 13km of high elevation tracks. Lenk: You can cross country ski in the whole Lenk valley and at Mülkerblatten.

Walking Adelboden offers the ‘Adelboden Walkers Pass’ which gives walkers use of the cable cars and local buses to reach magnificent viewpoints, cosy mountain restaurants and starting points of many of the adventurous trails.

Apres Ski

The night life in Adelboden and Lenk is a lot quieter than some other resorts, however, there is enough to offer a wind-down after a pleasant day’s skiing such as Tipi-Bar, Andy’s pub and the Bistro Grand Bazar in Lenk. And in Adelboden you can find a bit more night life including the Berna Bar or the Time Out pub
located directily on the Dorfstrasse.
